The 2014 vintage of our flagship Cabernet reflects all the distinct charactaristics of our vineyard sources, ranging from our bench land site in Yountville to northern St. Helena, to western alluvial fans in Rutherford, to mountain fruit from Spring Mountain and the cool volcanic growing region of Coombsville. As unique as the man himself, it's an extraordinary addition to any collector's cellar.
Yao Family Wines is proud to present it's signature Cabernet Sauvignon for 2013, the YAO MING Family Reserve. The 2013 vintage will prove to be one of the most outstanding in Napa history, and this wine is one of the most artful expressions of the vintage. 96% Cabernet, 100% new French oak for 24 months. An absolute classic in the making.
As our first ever white wine, our Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc has all the balance and complexity you'd expect from Yao Family Wines. 8% Semillon, aged in neutral French oak, is blended with steel-fermented Sauvignon Blanc from Oakville and St. Helena to create our debut vintage.
Our Napa Crest Red Wine is our tip of the hat to the great blends of Bordeaux. A proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from premiere vineyards in south Napa, Oakville and St. Helena, the 2014 reflects another outstanding vintage that's drinkable now and will reveal even more complexity over the next five to seven years.
